Tasmanian Yearling Sale
Was the sale a success or not. In Sunday's paper it was stated it was, but I'm not so sure. Of the 42 lots, 6 were withdrawn; of the 36 lots left, 14 of them were buy backs, that left 22 that were sold, which is only about 56 per cent, and of the buy backs I noticed this year 2 of our biggest breeders bought back 5 of the 10 lots they had in the sale. Was it such a success after all?

Tasracing should look at this sale big time!
The cost to put this on one would think it would be better to run this at a place like Mowbray or Carrick, & to have a mixed sale after.
