What a joke. Races put off one hour before start.locals knew the night before that any more rain would lead to cancelling meeting but nothing done about transferring meet or letting people know so they didn't waste time getting horses ready. Once again the owners and trainers are not given afair go. All about clubs and officials looking after themselves
yes there would of been a few horses having to be worked that afternoon as well.wasnt handled the best. decision should of been made by 9am really but the meeting should be held before the end of day light savings any way.
its great driving along the road and hearing that the races have been cancelled. What had happened if we were listening to something else. A bit more thought needs to be put in to these things. We are living in the year 2009!.
